Expanish Scholarships for Year and Semester Studies

Award Amount:

• Year Programs:
  Up to $3000USD
• Semester Programs:
  Up to $1500USD

Expanish Scholarships for Summer and Short-Term Studies

Award Amount:

• LAS Summer Program (Universidad de Austral):
  4 Week Scholarships ($300USD)
  8+ Week Scholarships ($600-$800USD)

• Spanish Program Scholarships:
  4 Week Scholarships ($300USD)
  8+ Week Scholarships ($600-$800USD)

Expanish Scholarship Details

Destination: Buenos Aires

Eligibility: Students on a Semester, Year, Summer, or Short-term study abroad program in Buenos Aires are eligible for the scholarships.

Criteria: Expanish scholarships will be awarded to students based on the following: financial need; quality of required personal statement and scholarship essay; academic performance record; and letter of recommendation.

Submission Deadline: All documents must be received at least sixty (60) days before the appropriate program start date.

Application Procedure:

• Please download the Expanish Year/Semester Studies scholarship application form in PDF version and fill out all required information.
• Please download the Expanish Summer and Short-term Studies scholarship application form in PDF version and fill out all required information.
• Attach all additional documents to the scholarship application, and mail it in to the address on the bottom of the application form. All application materials must be received at least sixty (60) days before the appropriate program start date and will be evaluated once the student has been accepted into the program.

Notes
* Scholarship may not be used towards any program or housing date extensions if the student decides to come before or stay after their university program's start and end dates.

* Although the scholarship total will be calculated based on the cost of the entire program, the scholarship may not be used to pay the required program deposit upon program application approval.
