Expanish Diversity Scholarships for Studies in Latin America
Award Amount: Up to US$1000
Destinations: Buenos Aires
Description:Expanish offers scholarships designed to increase diversity within our study abroad programs in Buenos Aires. One scholarship is offered for each semester, (or semester prep, program).
Eligibility: All applicants whose acceptance to the program would increase student diversity are eligible for the scholarships.
Criteria: These Diversity scholarships will be based on academic achievement, financial need, quality of a student's required personal statement and scholarship essay, including information concerning a student's beliefs about the importance of increasing diversity in study abroad programs, as well as a letter of recommendation.
Postmark Deadline: Application Deadline is sixty (60) days before the appropriate program start date.
Application Procedure:
- Please download the scholarship application form in PDF version and fill out all required information.
- Attach all additional documents to the scholarship application, and mail it in to the address on the bottom of the application form. All application materials must be received at least sixty (60) days before the appropriate program start date and will be evaluated once the student has been accepted in to the program.
Notes: *Scholarship may not be used towards any program or housing date extensions if the student decides to come before or stay after their university program's start and end dates.
*Although the scholarship total will be calculated based on the cost of the entire program, the scholarship may not be used to pay the required program deposit upon program application approval.
