Expanish offers university students a number of diverse Academic Year and Semester study abroad programs in Buenos Aires. Our programs are offered in conjunction with three prestigious partner universities: Universidad de Belgrano, Universidad Católica Argentina, and Universidad de Buenos Aires. We specifically developed partnerships with these three distinct Argentine universities in order to offer students a variety of program choices: from Intensive Spanish Language options for beginners, to a true immersion experience at a public university for students with advanced Spanish skills, to specific thematic semesters in areas such as Politics, History, Economics, Religion, and Developmental Studies in Argentina and the region. Each program includes student accommodations, cultural activities, comprehensive student services, travel excursions, and more, creating a complete cultural and Spanish immersion experience.

In our Semester or Academic Year programs in Buenos Aires, study abroad students can choose to do coursework in their area of concentration or select courses from colleges and schools throughout the university. Housing

Expanish strives to provide study abroad students with comfortable, safe, and culturally rich housing options during their Expanish semester in Buenos Aires. Our philosophy concerning accommodations is that in living with local families and students and young Argentine professionals, students will be able to meet new people and immerse themselves in both Argentine society and culture.

Volunteer

Students who are interested in volunteering in Buenos Aires can combine their Semester or Academic Year program in Argentina with a volunteer placement. Expanish has partnered with a number of organizations with whom students can choose to volunteer in such areas as community development, education, marketing, project and program development, public health, and assistance in teaching English as a foreign language.

**Students in a volunteer placement in Buenos Aires are required to pay a one time placement fee. Depending on the volunteer placement, students will be required to have a basic to advanced level of Spanish.

Internships

Our study abroad students in any university program that is eight weeks or longer can participate in our internship program. An internship is a great way for students to practice Spanish, gain valuable work experience while studying abroad, and immerse themselves in professional life in Argentina. Expanish ensures that internships are matched as closely as possible to student' field of study, specific interests, and qualifications.

**Students in a year or semester program in Buenos Aires who choose to participate in an internship program are required to have a high-intermediate level of Spanish and pay a one time placement fee.

Apply

Application deadlines are sixty (60) days before program start dates for all Summer programs in Buenos Aires. Applications received between sixty (60) days and seven (7) days before program start dates will be evaluated on a case-by case basis. Submitted applications will not be accepted less than seven (7) days before program start dates.

Students can submit their applications online or by downloading the application in PDF format and then mailing or faxing the form to Expanish.
