Housing

All accommodations are carefully screened by Expanish and selected on the basis of their cleanliness, range of amenities, location, and special student requirements (i.e. dietary needs, allergies, etc). Students will have the option of either selecting a family homestay or a shared apartment.

Homestay

A homestay is the perfect option for students who want to learn about daily life and family customs in Argentina, in addition to further practice their Spanish skills outside of the classroom. Homestays range in their family composition, from a señora (single woman) to a young couple or to an adult couple with college age children. All homestay hosts are dedicated to exposing students to daily domestic life as lived in Buenos Aires. All homestays include a single room and two daily meals (breakfast and dinner).

Shared Apartment

Students who seek a more independent living style will likely prefer to select the shared apartment option. With a shared apartment, students live with other students (local and international) or young professionals, including at least one native Spanish speaker. Apartments generally have between 1 to 8 roommates ranging between the ages of 20-32. All students will have a single room. No more than two students participating in this program will live in the same shared apartment.
