When students arrive in Buenos Aires, they do not just find a resident staff member or two on site, but an entire institution of Expanish support staff and a beautiful study center waiting to welcome them. Students come to their home base when they arrive in Argentina, instead of leave it; the Expanish mix of local and international staff from around the world provides students with an intricate support system, no matter what challenge they face abroad.
How do we do it?
Expanish is a local organization to South America with a wide range of resources and a broad network that function to expand the student experience by facilitating learning through practical experiences with the language, in addition to formal instruction at local universities.

Cultural Immersion Philosophy
Whatever the reasons you choose to study abroad, it has become increasingly apparent that current generations must not just speak another language, but comprehend the culture that surrounds each language. To this extent, Expanish offers a proactive way to study abroad in South America via cultural immersion programs that combine cultural activities with Spanish courses into a well-rounded study program in Spanish. Our unique philosophy drives our program development, which is centered on two main pedagogical beliefs:
- Local Living. It is crucial that students have the opportunity to interact with local people. Expanish seeks to expand the students' access to peer groups beyond their own fellow classmates.
- Hands-On Learning. Students will find themselves truly engaged in South American culture and life rather than observing from the sidelines. Expanish offers students a variety of applied activities to facilitate rapid Spanish development through practical use.
