Expanish Academic Merit Grants for Semester Studies

Award Amount: US $1500
Destinations: Buenos Aires

Description: Expanish offers one scholarship per semester per destination on its semester programs. Students on both semester and semester preparation programs are eligible for this award.

Eligibility: Worldwide applicants are eligible for the scholarships; preference will be given to those who are currently a college undergraduate or have graduated within the past academic year.

Criteria: Financial need, quality of personal statement and required scholarship essay, academic achievement, recommendation.

Submission Deadline: All documents must be received at least sixty (60) days before the appropriate program start date.

Application Procedure:

1. Please download the scholarship application form in PDF version and fill out all required information.
2. If you do not have Adobe Reader, please download the program here.  
3. Attach all additional documents to the application, and send it in to the address on the bottom of the form. All application materials must arrive at least sixty (60) days before the appropriate program start date and will be evaluated once the student's program application has also been turned in and approved.

Notes
*Scholarship may not be used towards any program or housing date extensions if the student decides to come before or stay after their university program.
*Although the scholarship total will be calculated based on the cost of the entire program, the scholarship may not be used to pay the required program deposit upon program application approval.

Expanish Short-Term Financial Need Awards

Award Amount: Short-Term Sessions - US $300.
Destinations: Buenos Aires

Description: Expanish offers need-based scholarships on its short-term programs (one per short-term Spanish session at the UB).

Eligibility: Worldwide applicants are eligible for the scholarships; preference will be given to those who are currently a college undergraduate or have graduated within the past academic year.

Criteria: Financial need, quality of personal statement and required scholarship essay, academic achievement, recommendation.
