Study Abroad Program Supplement

Expanish offers the option of an internship to supplement all university programs at least seven weeks or longer. Students wishing to gain experience working abroad whilst studying in Argentina can intern in addition to their classes. Internships are matched as closely as possible to the students’ interests and qualifications. There is a one time placement fee and a high intermediate Spanish level is required.

How Placement Works 

Internship placements are matched as closely as possible to the students' individual interests and qualifications. Once students submit their application form and program deposit, Expanish begins the process of matching interested students with high quality placements within our internship network.

Students must submit their CV (in Spanish and English) and a letter of recommendation (preferably written in Spanish, although English will be accepted). After program approval has been granted and the deposit has been received, the internship search begins. Because each host organization is different, the selection process will vary.  For example, some placements require an in-person interview which university staff will organize and facilitate. Expanish will coordinate the internship with the selected organization and provide an intermediary between you and the organization. Please keep in mind that Expanish cannot guarantee each potential placement since position acceptance is dependent on your in-person interview, skills, and qualifications.  If for some reason the originally desired placement does not work out, then Expanish will continue looking for a new placement.
