Diversity Scholarships for Studies in Latin America
Award Amount: US $1000
Destinations: Buenos Aires & Santiago
Description: Expanish offers scholarships aimed to increase diversity
(as defined by the student in their scholarship essay) within study abroad
programs in Latin America. One scholarship is
offered for each semester (or semester prep).
Eligibility: Worldwide
applicants are eligible for the scholarships; preference will be given to those
who are currently a college undergraduate or have graduated within the past
academic year.
Criteria: Academic
achievement, financial need, quality of personal statement and required
scholarship essays including personal motivation to increase diversity abroad,
recommendation.
Postmark Deadline: Application Deadline is sixty (60) days before the appropriate program
start date.

Procedure:
- Please download the application in PDF version and fill
out all required information.
 If you do not have Adobe Reader, you may download the program here.
- Attach all additional
documents to the application, and send it in to the address on the bottom
of the form. All application materials must arrive at least sixty (60) days
before the appropriate program start date and will be evaluated once the
student's program application has also been turned in and approved.
Notes
*Scholarship may not be used towards any program or housing date extensions
if the student decides to come before or stay after their university program.
*Although the scholarship total will be calculated based on the cost of the
entire program, the scholarship may not be used to pay the required program
deposit upon program application approval.
